How do distinguish different materials of security screens
The application of security screens is very wide, and it is a material often used by modern people. Many people don’t know how to distinguish different materials of security screens? Today MAISHI MFG will share the details:316 stainless steel security screen is marine-grade, with the highest corrosion resistance, and is more suitable for marine environments. 304 stainless steel has excellent corrosion resistance and good inter-grain corrosion resistance. 201 has high manganese content, the surface is bright and dark; 316 has more chromium content, the surface is dark, and it is not easy to rust. 201 nickel content is 1%-2%, 304 nickel content is 8%-10%, 201 has poor corrosion resistance.
The key to the price gap of the security screens is the difference in raw materials. The quality of the security screen is determined by the quality of the raw materials, and the quality determines the advantages. The core of the security screen is the anti-theft net material. MAISHI MFG 316 stainless steel material used in the security screen is made by spray molding. 316 security screen has a corresponding softness and is not easy to break under the action of high impact force. Moreover, the 316 stainless steel security screen is very durable and has the characteristics of not being easy to rust. Its service life is about 10-20 years.
However, due to competition in the market, some of them use iron mesh or 201 stainless steel, or 304 stainless steel. The cost of these materials is nearly 90% cheaper than that of 316. Although the appearance is the same as the 316 stainless steel wire mesh, the 201 wire mesh does not have a strong tensile force and is easy to rust. Most of the service life is about 2 years.
MAISHI MFG mainly produces security screens and we use SS316 material, if any questions or anything we can help feel free to contact us.
