How to distinguish the quality of stainless steel security screen

The quality of stainless steel security screen varies due to different surface treatments, materials, wire diameters and weight.

1. The surface of the security screen generally are sprayed, rather than dipping(dipping is not environmental and friendly). Spray has correct and uniform color. And powder spray treatment is non-toxic and non-radiation, also gives clients visual beauty.

2. For the material: standard stainless steel security screens are made of stainless steel 304(Ni8%, Cr18%) or stainless steel 316(Ni10%, Cr16%), not stainless steel 201 or galvanized materials. Stainless steel 304 and 316 have good temperature resistance and corrosion resistance, are all strictly tested, has a long service life. We could help you test your current material with a small piece of sample with our XRF unit.

3. For standard stainless steel security screens, the weight of the same specification is very similar. If there are obvious weight differences, you may need to think that whether they’re of the same specification/ wire diameter or materials.
