The concept and difference of dip, coating, spray, plastic, and paint(1)

1. Plastic coating: Plastic coating can be a process of extrusion compounding, calendering compounding, dip-plastic compounding, etc. It is a process of applying a thermal powder plastic on a material substrate (generally metal wire mesh). The dielectric material that can be used is a thermoplastic powder for coating, mainly epoxy resin, polyethylene, polyvinyl chloride. Polytetrachloroethylene, polyester PvC powder (polyvinylidene), and the like. Plastic coating is a broad concept that includes dip, spray, and overmolding.

At present, the quality of PVC plastic powder on the market is rather chaotic. Generally, the powder will crack and peel in a year. The slightly better life expectancy is about three years, and the better is imported powder.

2. Dip molding: Dip molding is a kind of plastic coating. It is a plastic (polyethylene powder) coating process. It refers to putting metal objects into the furnace for heat treatment. When the temperature reaches a certain level, it is put into the medium. In the plastic powder pool of the material, the powder is melted and bonded to the metal surface after preheating. This process of heating to coat the plastic powder powder on the metal surface to achieve corrosion protection is called dip molding. For example, our daily drying racks, handles of pliers, rubber sleeves on scissors, various handrails, etc. are all dip products. Dip molding is the surface treatment of the finished product, that is, the anti-corrosion treatment of raw materials such as PVC on the surface of the welded or woven mesh.

The dip-molded dielectric material is generally weather resistant polymer resin, PE (polyethylene) dip powder, PVC dip powder, and the like. PE dip powder is divided into PE general-purpose dip powder, PE engineering dip powder, PE pipeline dip powder, PE refrigerator special dip powder, PE hanger special diffusing powder and so on.

According to whether it is necessary to heat the plastic powder, the dip is divided into cold dip and hot dip, according to the raw materials of dip coating, it can be divided into powder dip and liquid dip, the corresponding processing is divided into powder dip processing and Liquid dip processing. Cold dip equipment is generally workshop style. Hot dip is required for long-term heating. After a few months of general earthwork, there will be problems such as uneven temperature and slow heating. Dip equipment is divided into manual, semi-automatic and line dip machines. And dedicated to pipe coating equipment.
